Question About Camera Lens None
105mm f2.8 Focus Ring...

I have a question pertaining to the meter/feet ring that is adjacent to the rubber grip focus ring. I recently bought one off ebay and the ring with the markings is able to move independently of the focus ring. Is this normal or should both the feet/meter marking and the focus ring move simultaneously?
