I have a video tape inside my Palmcorder and wish ...

I have a video tape inside my Palmcorder and wish to get it out but all batteries have expired, and I don't want to buy another as I don't use the palmcorder any more. How can I get it out? Also, how can I connect the Palmcorder to play the tapes through my computer so that I can convert them to dvd?
