Polaroid IS426 will not turn on and shows a red li...

Polaroid IS426 will not turn on and shows a red light when I plug in charger cord, and I have tried unplugging SD card and putting it back in, I have also tried powering on without battery in, but still no results. I have also tried different power cord but still a red light shows. Any ideas?
