I turn the camera on, it says goodbye and shuts off right away. I have tried taking the battery out, as suggested for a few minutes and putting it back in. Nothing. The lens is now stuck in the out position. I have also, as suggested, pressed the on and zoom buttons at the same time and still nothing. It just keeps shutting off, as soon as I turn it on, and the lens won't go in.
