why can't I hear the sound from my videos recorded...

why can't I hear the sound from my videos recorded with my Polaroid Izone 500. I can't hear audio from the device, with headphones plugged in or from my computer the video is downloaded too. I also can't get the MP3 player to play sound either. Thanks
