5 The battery is inside the film pack, when you insert it the camera will come on. There is a white arrow and a black arrow for lighting, white for lighter obviously black arrow for darker. Also behind the red shutter button there is a second shutter release without automatic flash. When you open the film door on your camera there should be a note of which film to use.
