The tape will not eject. Is there a bypass for the eject button?

0 -just an fyi- Not sure if this solution works on RCA camcorders, but I recently read that a Sony eject problem can be resolved by powering on, then holding the eject button for at least 2 minutes. (wish i had read this before disassembling my PRO845)
