Question About RCA Camcorder Pro867
Tape Stuck and No Power...

I have a RCA Pro8 (Pro867) that will not power up. There is a tape inside that I would like to extract, preferrably without destroying the camera. Does anyone have a service manual or suggestions? Thanks.

0 I have the same problem and a stuck tape on a PRO845, and I seek the same solution and/or a service manual. I've taken my camera fully apart but can not seem to be able to unlock the secret interlock combination (of gear & cogs) that will allow the tape to be freed. (without distroying the camera of course)
