tripod arm broken, first time used!...

HI; I received this tripod from my grandson for my birthday. I did not use the tripod until recently. when I open the arms, one of the arm broke off immediately! I'm very disappointed and sad my gift from my grandson didn't have a chance for long term use. how can I have the tripod fix or replace? thanks for your help, and have a great day! Lo
