Samsung 530 remote control locked...

I have somehow locked the original remote control. Any ideas on how to unlock it?

0 Remove the batteries, hold down the power (on/off) switch for 1 minute, replace the batteries. I confirmed this with Samsung Live Chat. It worked on my remote. I hope this helps others.
