Have an 8mm Samsung Camcorder, model VP-L8001J. I was sent the manual for a VP-A30/a31/a33/a34/a800/a850 and I am not convinced that this manual is enough in its instructions- in particular when it comes to playing the recordings back through the TV. Is there a more accurate manual for this model that can be accessed on line - please? Failing that, is there some obvious thing I am missing about playing back through the TV - apart from, connecting up with the appropriate cable (supplied with the camcorder) and making sure that the TV is on the right AV channel (or video channel) , before pressing the playback button?.
