Question About Sankyo Film Camera None
motor check...

I am looking to purchase a Sankyo ES-66XL super 8 camera. I have been told that the only way to check and see if the motor runs is to install a film in it because there is an interlock in this camera; no film, motor won't run! Is this true? Regards, Jay F. Wisconsin
