WHY ARE SOME OF MY PICTURES BLURRY?...

THIS IS A SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA (# ON FRONT OF CAMERA IS VPC-T1495). SOME OF MY PICTURES ARE BLURRY. DO I NEED TO PARTIALLY PRESS THE BUTTON TO FOCUS BEFORE TAKING THE PICTURE OR JUST PRESS ALL THE WAY IN?
