I had to purchase a new battery for my camera. Typically when I plug the charging adapter to the camera the light will turn green to indicate charging and go off when the battery has been fully charged. When I plug the charging adapter in now, the light turns red and the battery does not charge. the battery that I purchased is not brand name but was stated to be identical to the original. Please advise as to what the issue might be. Thank you
