Question About Sharp Camcorder VL AH 50 H

bought a yard sale and did not have instructions there is only 1 baettry in it and when you charge it it makes a click sound and blinks the screen info for like 1/2 sec. there does not seem to be a way to release the tape that is in either. Can't find a manual online either.. Hope to fix it. thanks & God bless
