Problem with photo frame SPX8E...

I just got the photo frame. It plays the photos for a few seconds and then switches off. I cannot even get to the setup screen, since it switches exactly a few seconds later.

1 Mine did the same thing and I realized that the light sensor setting (that turns it off in low light) is set to ON by default. Try turning the unit on in a very brightly lit room. I am not sure where the sensor is, but it seemed to work better when I had the back towards the light. Then I was able to get in to the settings menu and turn off the light sensor.
