Question About Toshiba Camcorder None
file format...

We've bought a number of this camera at the school where I work, but we can't edit the video files (mp4) in Windows Movie Maker. The computers they are using are running xp pro. On some computers, we can watch the files on Windows Media Player, but not all, and editing in WMM is not possible on any of them. Any suggestions?

0 Hi, We had an identical problem here. The camcorder saves videos in mpeg4 format which windows movie maker doesn't like. I downloaded a free program which converts the mpeg4 to avi format which you can then use in movie maker. It's a bit of a hassle if pupils are wanting to create their own movies bt not insurmountable. Hope this helps
