5 Depending on your TV model, it will only play certain file types. You need to download a free video converter to your computer. Download one here: www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/ After installing the converter, open the program. Drag the video files from your dongle to the converter program window. Choose to convert the video files to a common video format such as .mp4 or .avi and set the output folder to one you can easily find perhaps make a folder on your desktop. After the conversion is complete, try bringing just one converted video file to the dongle and test to see if your tv will now read the new file format. When you put the dongle or USB stick into the tv, a message should pop up on screen asking you if you want to use the device. Choose yes. Of no message pops up on your tv, then press the "input" or "source" button on your remote and choose the device which should now be listed on your screen. You may want to try converting one file at a time and testing to see which format works for your tv. Different TVs read different formats and most likely cannot recognize the file type that your camera is using.
