0 What size card is this? I have found mine is exactly as it says in the manual (page 6) and it will not take anything over 2GB, no matter how you format the disk it will not take anything bigger. If this is a 2GB or less, then try copting the root directory from the card on a pc then format the disk on the pc and then try again to insert it in the camera and format it again in the camera.
