when I connect to my iMac computer, the VQ0801w do...

when I connect to my iMac computer, the VQ0801w doesn't appear anywhere. I'm not sure that I'm looking in the right place, but all other devices I've ever connected show up in finder. I tried looking in iPhoto too, but no luck there either.
