blank screen...

camera has not been used for about 4 months when i went to turn it on the screen stayed blank any idea what is wrong?

1 It sees if you have image in way to visualize photos, if you have image, most probable can be than the CCD is not receiving light in the firing way, reviews the lens and verifies that the petals of the rainbow are open.
