0 HI ! I have the same camera.No need manual. You must know these thnigs: .Do not try to update.There is no update like on cell phones.Its a fake. A few tips of using Vivitar Corp.Products(genuine from US!) Before start you must format your new SD card(up to 2gb only..but that enought for a few hours).Another thing> charging only via wall charger.Do not try to put in any other USB.Cover USB port by tape when shooting in the rain or so on.Yes it is very heavy design, not a waterproof, but water resistant.Also it freeze at -15C.So the max temp is -10C.Camera is not a shockproof.But it s hard to destroy by everyday use.I have now the same focus tweak.But I am using this camera about 3 years, from summer to winter +30..to -18! check out my videos.Its true. youtube.com/fourmatic4 Vivitar make one of the best LCD big screens in US. I mean genuine Vivitar Corp.Also very good camera optics.It was in `80s(optics). just google. I am not a big fan of this brand.But I am not dissapointed.I am disapointed in Sony Handycam HD for around 600 buks..holy crap.but it is must be another post... Viva Vivitar!:) Keep smiling.
