Question About Vivitar Camcorder None
viewing video on computers...

I am not able to view pictures from video playback. I can hear the audio but no picture. I have tried to view manuals but with no joy. I have a mini disc that came with camera but does not seem to work. Is there anything that I can/need to do to get this to work. Many Thanks in anticipation. Bri.

0 Sounds like your PC doesn't have the video codec software to playback the video. Microsoft doesn't bundle mpeg-4 codecs (at least in Windows 7) so you will have to download it. A free codec pack to download would be the Combined Community codec pack or cccp. There are others, that's just the one I use offhand. http://cccp-project.net/
