when I turn it on (T324n) it won't turn off.I have...

when I turn it on (T324n) it won't turn off.I have to open the battery door to turn it off.When I shut the door and power it up again,the power button will not turn it off.Prior to this (when the batteries had more power)the lense would go in and out..i had no control of it
