Date Stamp...

How do you adjust the date stamp? The "Date" button turns it on and off. But when I first tried it yesterday it displayed "1.31.00". Now it displays "1.27.00".

5 Battery is a CR 2025 for date setting is behind cover in front under "shoe" above lens. Directions inside cover. I have a manual but its not in PDF yet.
