Taking still pictures and displaying them

Compose the picture by turning
the camera towards the subject.
● The picture is slightly larger than
scene you viewed through the
viewfinder/monitor.

Press the shutter button halfway
to lock the focus and exposure.
● The AF confirmation mark will light
up and the camera will beep once.
● If the focus and exposure are not
locked, the AF confirmation mark

● If a subject is not well lit and is
difficult to focus on, the AF assist
lamp will light automatically. You
can also turn off the AF assist lamp

● When the flash stand-by blinks,
slide (flash switch) to set the
