Problem Cause(s) Solution(s)
• Insert CF card until the ejector button is
fully extended and close the slot cover.
• Replace the CF card.
• Download and then erase all or some of
the card’s images to create space.
• Reformat the CF card.
• If reformatting does not work, the logic
circuits of the CF card may be faulty or
damaged. Please consult the nearest
Canon Customer Support Help Desk.
• After closing the CF card slot cover, try
turning the Mode Dial to Off again.
• After closing the battery cover, try
turning the Mode Dial to Off again.
• Place the battery in a warm place like
your pocket prior to recording in places
that are relatively cold. [See Lithium
Batteries, p. 18]
