Choose a mode matching the shooting scene, and the camera will
automatically configure the settings for optimal shots.
Choose a shooting mode.
Press the o button, and then press the op
buttons to choose a shooting mode.
When multiple icons are displayed in the
middle of the screen, press the qr buttons to
choose a shooting mode.
Press the m button.
Shoot.
S Shoot under water (Underwater)
Take natural-colored shots of sea life and
underwater scenery.
This mode can correct white balance and
match the effect of using a commercially
available color-compensating filter (p. 81).
Shoot close-up subjects under
water (Underwater Macro)
Take natural-colored, close-up shots of sea
life. Use the digital zoom to get even closer
shots of subjects. However, using the digital
zoom may cause the image to appear grainy
depending on the resolution setting (p. 68).
