* The number displayed on the right corner indicates the approximate number of
photos that can be recorded with the current quality/size setting.
**Touch [X] if you do not intend to use simultaneous recording.
While recording, or in record pause mode, press j to capture
the photo.
In mode, the size/quality of photos taken while recording video
(simultaneous recording) will be determined by the setting selected with
this procedure; the size/quality of photos taken in record pause mode will
be determined by the photo size set in mode (
0 105).
IMPORTANT
When recording photos on an Eye-Fi card, photos will be uploaded
automatically if you are within the range of a configured network. Always
verify that Eye-Fi cards have been approved in the country/region of
use. See also Using an Eye-Fi card (0 146).
NOTES
Photo quality will be higher when photos are recorded in mode or
in mode during record pause.
Photos will be recorded on the memory selected for
recording photos.
Photos cannot be recorded simultaneously while the digital zoom or a
digital effect is activated.
In mode, when the IS mode is set to [P Dynamic], if you zoom
in to full telephoto you can record video using a zoom ratio larger than
15x. Photos taken simultaneously at that time, however, will show a
maximum zoom ratio of 15x so the video and the photo will not show
exactly the same picture.
