ELECTRONIC AND OPTICAL IMAGE STABILISATION
With Optical and Electronic Image Stabilizer (OIS and
EIS), Canon camcorders suppress unwanted shake to
keep your images clear – especially important when
working at higher magnifications.
EIS adjusts the image on the camera sensor and draws
little extra power from your battery. OIS offers the ultimate
level of stabilised images – for both movies and stills –
and even works in 16:9 mode.
HIGH ZOOM RATIO
Because you can’t always be close to the
action, Canon’s camcorders feature super
high magnification zoom ratios. Capture
the drama of a sweeping panorama and
then zoom all the way in to fill your frame
with a distant child’s smile. Because Canon
lenses utilise only the finest optical glass,
even in our entry level models, you can
zoom all the way in to your camcorder’s
highest optical magnification and the
picture quality stays crisp, clear and bright –
even in low light conditions.
