Using BEST SHOT
. BEST SHOT Precautions
• BEST SHOT scene images were not shot using this camera.
• Images shot using a BEST SHOT scene may not produce the results you expected
due to shooting conditions and other factors.
• You can modify the camera settings that are configured after you select a BEST
SHOT scene. Note, however, that the BEST SHOT settings revert to their defaults
when you select another BEST SHOT scene or turn off the camera.
• Snapshot shooting is disabled while the following BEST SHOT scenes are being
used.
Prerecord (Movie), For YouTube, BEST SHOT movie scenes
• Movie recording is disabled while the following BEST SHOT scenes are being
used.
Multi SR Zoom, Lag Correction, High Speed Anti Shake
• FHD movie and STD movie recording are disabled (and high speed movie is
always enabled) while the following BEST SHOT scenes are being used.
Child High Speed Movie, Pet High Speed Movie, Sports High Speed Movie
• Shooting with a BEST SHOT scene automatically shoots with the mode setting that
is configured for that scene, regardless of whether the camera’s current REC mode
setting is Single Shot or continuous shutter (CS) setting.
• The “12M”, “3:2”, and “16:9” image size settings are not supported while any one of
the BEST SHOT scenes below is being used. If one of these image sizes is
selected in other mode, the image size changes to “10M” automatically when one
of the BEST SHOT scenes below is selected.

Scene, High Speed Night Scene and Portrait, High Speed Anti Shake
• When the movie mode is FHD/STD, movies are recorded using the settings of the
selected BEST SHOT scene. For high speed movie recording, BEST SHOT scene
settings are ignored and movie recording is performed as it normally is.
• The current “Zoom (SR)” setting is ignored while one of the BEST SHOT scenes
below is selected.
