Ranger Quadra AS and the RQ Ringflash ECO are portable units, which will be frequently used
«on location». Please be aware of the danger, or inconvenience, which it may represent to
others for example children.
• ConnecttheashcablewiththesecuritylockingringrsttotheRQRFECOand
than to the RQ power pack.
• EnsurethattheRQpowerpackisswitchedOFF.
• Onlycorrectttedashcableconnectionsaresecuredagainstarching,moisterand
dust.
• Powerpackoutletsnotinusemustbeprotectedwiththesecuritycovers.
• Checkallconnectionsagain;thecablemustbelockedwiththesecurityringand
than switch on the unit.

Third party manufacturers
Even, similar flashhead sockets and plugs are used by other manufacturers, the Ringflash
cannot be connected to generators from these manufacturers. Ask your Elinchrom service if
suitable adapter cords for those brands exist.
