Once the housing has been closed push the controls back into
place Make sure they line up with the camera’s controls Pull
out on the housing’s Zoom Control and align with the camera’s
Zoom Lever then push the housing control back in to engage
with the camera’s Zoom lever

To turn the camera ON use the housing ON/OFF control to
slide the Camera Lens Cover away from the lens To turn the
camera OFF pull out on the housing ON/OFF control and
rotate it past the raised part of the Lens Cover push down and
slide the Lens Cover toward the lens (Lens will retract into
camera body)

The housing’s control for the camera’s Right Arrow/Flash and
Multi Control Dial has a white dot that aligns with the housing
controls activation paw The control is used in two different ways
To activate the Right Arrow/Flash function place the white dot
over the camera control and push in and pull out on the housing
control
To rotate the camera’s Multi Control Dial place the white dot at
about an  o’clock position rotate the housing control clockwise
to about the  o’clock position Lift the housing control and
repeat this action until the desired setting is obtained

 Ikelite provides silicone lubricant with the housing We recommend
you use only Ikelite lubricant on Ikelite products as some other
brands may cause the o’ring to swell and not seal properly
 Use only enough lubricant to lightly cover control shafts and
o’rings Wipe off any excess lubricant with a clean cloth
Lubricant is not a sealant it is used to reduce friction Excessive
lubricant can collect sand and dirt which may interfere with
proper sealing

water pressure will not allow the camera’s Zoom lever to return
to the center position When the camera’s Zoom lever is held to
either side it will not allow the camera to take a picture

Slide the camera’s Lens Cover open then slide it back towards the
lens until the camera’s lens retracts back into the camera body
Leave the Lens Cover in this position when installing the camera
into the housing In this position the housing ON/OFF control can
be used to turn the camera on and off

 Place housing face down in your
lap or on flat surface
 Check to see that there is an
o’ring on the housing back and
t
hat it is clean and in its proper
location
Guide the back onto the housing
The o’ring should touch the
housing all the way around There
should be an even gap all the way
a
round between the housing and
the housing back
 Lift the lid snaps so they are
extended and place the lid snap
into the hook on the housing
back
To close the housing push
down on the lid snaps until
they snap into place  Lid
snaps on opposite sides of the
housing should be closed at the
same time Be sure they are down
far enough to engage the lock

 Once the housing is closed check the o’ring seal
Check the gap between the housing back and the housing it
should be even all the way around
Look through the clear plastic back at the o’ring You should see a
darkened area where the o’ring is compressed against the
housing back If you do not see an even black compression seal
all the way around the back open the lid snaps reseat the
housing back and close the lid snaps Visually check the seal again
