Direct printing (PictBridge) problems

For Direct printing issues, contact the printer manufacturer.
Picture is not clear To automatically set exposure and focus, press the Shutter button
halfway and hold. When the AE/AF indicator turns green, press
the Shutter button completely down to take the picture.
Clean the lens (page 88).
Make sure camera is not in Macro AF mode if you are outside of the
Macro AF setting or the Flower and Close-up mode specifications.
Make sure camera is not in Telephoto mode if you are closer than the
telephoto focus specification.
Place the camera on a flat, steady surface or use a tripod, especially
in high-zoom settings or in low light.
Status Solution
Cannot locate desired picture.
Use the Direct print menu to change the image storage
location.
The Direct print menu display
turns off.
Press any button to redisplay the menu.
Cannot print pictures.
Ensure that there is a connection between the camera
and printer (page 21).
Ensure the printer and camera have power (page 21).
Camera or printer display an
error message.
Follow the prompts to resolve the issue.
