Full-Time Live View Lets You Shoot While Looking at the LCD
On most digital SLR cameras, the LCD monitor is used for viewing images after you've shot them, not as a viewfi nder. The L10 changes all
that. Its enhanced Live View function lets you frame and focus your shots right on the large LCD screen, and it lets you see – before you shoot –
how adjusting the white balance or exposure compensation will affect the shot. Full-time Live View makes it easy to shoot and easy to capture
images just the way you want them. It's one of the innovative functions that distinguish the L10 from every other digital SLR camera.
White balance adjustment: The white balance can be adjusted in the area of two-axis (blue/amber
and magenta/green) of coordinates precisely. Color temperature can also be adjusted in 100K steps.
Exposure compensation: Adjustable from -2 to +2 EV, in 1/3-EV steps. With Live View,
the LCD shows you how changing the exposure compensation will affect the image.
Movable manual focus assist: A part of the image can be enlarged up to 8 times and
displayed on the LCD, giving you an easier, more precise way to check the focus. Using the
cursor button, you can select a different part of the image to enlarge.
