Step 1 :
Locate the “L” shaped anchors on your existing bed rail (model # 4022HD and 5022HD
only), and ensure the short arms of the anchors are pointing upward. These are the points
where you will connect your new accessory side bed rail.

You may need to release the strap locking buckles located on the under side of the Guide Bar
Assemblies of the existing bed rail. The anchoring straps should not be twisted. If twisted, the
anchoring straps will not tighten properly.

Note : In some situations, it might be beneficial to remove the top mattress before
continuing installation. This may require the help of a secondary person.
