Setting the USB Communication Speed
+ USBVersion function works only in M.Camand M.Player modes.
4, To ensure proper communication betweenthe camcorderand a PC, please set the USBVersion before connecting
the Camcorderto a PC.

Setthe Power switch to CAMERA or PLAYER.
Setthe Mode switchto MEMORY.
Pressthe MENUbutton.
• The menu list will appear.
Movethe Menu selectorto the left or right to select System,then press the Menuselector.
Movethe Menu selectorto the left or right to select USB Version,then pressthe Menu
selector.
Movethe Menu selectorto the left or right to select USB 1.1or USB 2.0,then press the Menu
selector.
• Set the USBVersion to USB 2.0when it is supportedby both PC and its
OS (Operating System).
• If eitherthe PC or OS does not support USB2.0, set the USB Versionto USB 1.1.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.

• When USB Version is not set properly, the USB connection may fail to establish.
• USB 2.0 may not be supported by certain PCs depending on their specifications.
In this case, choose the USB 1.1 for USB connection.
• If USB 2.0 is not supported by the PC, USB 1.1 will automatically be used for the USB connection.
