CONNECTING A MICROPHONE/
HEADPHONES
A commercially sold stereo microphone as well as headphones can be
connected to the camera.
Commercially sold stereo microphone: OLYMPUS (ME51SW)
HINT
iThe input level of the connected microphone can be adjusted (page 138).
iWhen an external microphone is connected, the camera’s stereo
microphone is disabled.
iWhen headphones are connected, the internal speaker output is turned
OFF.
iIt is recommended that you do not use headphones while driving an
automobile or motorbike, while riding a bicycle or while walking.
