Adjusting the focus
The focus is adjusted automatically in the
default setting.
Adjusting the focus for an off-
center subject – SPOT FOCUS
You can select and adjust the focal point to
aim it at a subject not located in the center of
the screen.
1 Set the FOCUS/ZOOM switch to
MANUAL during recording or in the
standby mode.

2 Touch .
3 Touch [MENU].
4 Select (CAMERA SET) menu, then
[SPOT FOCUS] by touching /
and touch .
5 Touch the subject for which you want
to adjust the focus on the screen.
[SPOT FOCUS] flashes while the camera is
adjusting the focus.
6 Touch [END].
