Changing camera settings
Using the MENU items
Displays available functions for easy setting when the camera is in shooting or playback
mode. Only the available items are displayed on the screen. The four menu items
displayed below do not appear in the MENU screen.
To restore the camera to its default settings, touch t (Settings) t (Main
Settings) t [Initialize].

MENU in shooting mode
Item Description
Easy Mode Allows you to shoot still images using the minimum necessary functions.
Movie shooting mode Allows you to shoot with preset settings according to the scene when the
camera is in Movie Mode.
( Auto/ Underwater)
Smile Shutter Detecting smiles and shooting automatically.
Flash Sets the flash settings.
( Auto/ On/ Slow Synchro/ Off)
Self-Timer Sets the self-timer settings.
( Off/ 10sec/ 2sec)
Burst Sets the burst shooting settings.
( Off/ High/ Mid/ Low)
Shooting Direction Set the direction to pan the camera when you shoot a Sweep Panorama
images.
( Right/ Left/ Up/ Down)
Image Size Sets the image size.

Macro Shoots beautiful close-up images of small subjects.
( Auto/ Close Focus On)
EV Adjusts exposure manually.
(–2.0EV to +2.0EV)
