Launching the application

Select MENU t [Application] t desired application to
launch.
• There is another way to launch an application.
You can call up an application by touching an NFC-enabled Android
Smartphone to the camera, aligning both N marks. To use this [One-
touch(NFC)] function, first register an application to be launched as
follows:
MENU t [Setup] t [One-touch(NFC)] t desired application
– Before touching the Smartphone to the camera, set the camera to
shooting mode. You cannot launch an application with this operation
if the camera is in playback mode.
– The default application assigned to [One-touch(NFC)] is [Smart
Remote Embedded].
z How to download applications directly using Wi-Fi
function of the camera
You can download applications using the Wi-Fi function without connecting to
a computer.
Select MENU t [Application] t (PlayMemories Camera Apps), then
follow the instructions on the screen to download applications.
Acquire a service account in advance (page 72).
If MENU t [Setup] t [Access Point Settings] t access point to be
connected t [IP Address Setting] is set to [Manual], change it to [Auto].
