Device Management (DM)
DM utilises GPRS as a bearer (basic network
connectivity needs to be in place) of the provisioning
data and allows the operator to access the phone,
check and send out different settings such as
network connectivity (GPRS), email, MMS, Internet
settings and Java™. Device Management is achieved
by supporting OMA Client Provisioning 1.1 (CP) and
OMA Device Management (DM) 1.2
