System configurations
The 3M Detection System Model 3900 series consists of four models: 3901, 3902, 3911, and 3912. The following illustrations
show the buried cable mounting option. Other mounting options include direct mounting with the connecting cables routed
under either a narrow threshold or a wide baseplate. All models function identically; the only difference between Models
3901 and 3902 and Models 3911 and 3912 is cosmetic.
Models 3901 and 3902
Models 3901 and 3902 have solid panels on the lattices. Model 3901 has a single corridor, whereas Model 3902 has two
corridors.
