You can shoot with the flash turned off.

Press the r button.

● Press the qr buttons to choose !, then
press the m button.
X Once set, ! will appear on the screen.
● To turn the flash back on, follow the steps
above to return the setting to .

What if a flashing appears?
When you press the shutter button halfway in low light conditions where
camera shake is likely, a flashing will appear on the screen. Attach
the camera to a tripod to prevent it from moving.
