[Display Metadata] ( mode only): Displays the date and time of recording and/or the camera data (shutter
speed, aperture value, gain) during the playback of MXF clips. During the playback of MP4 clips, when [Date/
Time] is set to [On] only the date of recording is displayed. During photo playback, the date and time of recording
is always displayed (this setting is not available).

[XF Legacy Sync]: Determines the characteristics of the synchronization reference output signal
(A 95).
[On]: Synchronization mode compatible with older Canon XF series camcorders. A 50.00i (or 50.00P) signal
is output as the synchronization reference output. Use this setting to synchronize the camcorder with a
Canon HD Camcorder XF105 or XF305.
[Off]: Standard synchronization mode. The synchronization reference output signal has the same frequency
as video output from 3G/HD-SDI terminal. Select this setting to synchronize the camcorder with a Canon HD
Camcorder XF205 or with one of the camcorders/digital cinema cameras in the CINEMA EOS SYSTEM
lineup.
