White balance
In some cases, it may be necessary
to pre-set the light source so the
camera can reproduce colors more
accurately. Set the White Balance
( ) according to the following
situations.
ISO
This setting ( ) adjusts how
quickly the camera reacts to light.
Higher ISO numbers allow higher
shutter speeds. Switch to higher
speeds while taking pictures in dark
areas or fast moving objects.
NOTE Higher ISO numbers can
decrease image quality, so use as low an ISO speed as
possible.
Icon Description
Auto Auto - this is the default setting
Daylight - recording outdoors on a bright day
Cloudy - recording under overcast or twilight skies
Tungsten - recording under incandescent lighting
Fluorescent 1- recording under cool or daylight
fluorescent lighting
Fluorescent 2 - recording under warm fluorescent
lighting
