Troubleshooting
In Review mode,
you do not see a
picture (or the
expected picture) on
the LCD screen.
Camera may not be
accessing the correct
image storage location.
Check the image storage location
setting (page 25).
In Review mode, a
blue or black screen
is displayed instead
of a picture.
File format is
unrecognized.
Transfer the picture to the computer
(page 14).
Shutter button does
not work.
Camera is not turned on. Turn on the camera (page 2).
Camera is processing a
picture; the ready light
(near the viewfinder) is
blinking red.
Wait until the ready light stops
blinking red before attempting to take
another picture.
Card or internal memory
is full.
Transfer pictures to the computer
(page 14), delete pictures from the
camera (page 12), switch image
storage locations (page 25), or insert
a card with available memory
(page 3).
Shutter button was not
pressed.
For best pictures, see page 4.
Slide show does not
run on external
video device.
Video Out setting is
incorrect.
Adjust the camera Video Out setting
(NTSC or PAL, page 27).
External device is set
incorrectly.
See the external device’s user’s guide.
