SPOT AF
The camera focuses on a subject within the spot
AF frame. This mode can be used to single out a
specific subject from a group.
1.Press the AF mode button until the
spot-AF indicator appears on the data
panel.
The spot-AF focus frame appears in the
viewfinder.
2.Place the subject in the spot-AF focus
frame. Press the shutter-release button
partway down to lock the focus.

FOCUS LOCK - SPOT AF
The focus-lock function allows the camera to be focused on a certain subject
and then the picture can be recomposed to arrange the subject at a different
position within the image area.
ADVANCED OPERATION
1.With subject in the focus frame, press and
hold the shutter-release button partway
down.
If the green focus lamp glows steadily the focus is
locked. If the focus lamp blinks, repeat the operation.
2.Without lifting your finger, recompose the
image in the viewfinder. Press the shutter-
release button all the way down to take
picture.
The focus lock is canceled when the shutter button is
released.
