7. Look into the eyepiece.
8. Slowly rotate the eyepiece individually
in the "–" direction until the eye sees the
object sharply imaged.
9. Select the highest magnication and refo-
cus if necessary.
Now, if you adjust the magnication from the
highest to the lowest level, the specimen is
always brought into sharp focus. If not, repeat
the process.
