6 Fully depress the shutter release button

autofocus frame mark on the main subject.

open all the way.

the camera-to-subject distance

closer than 0.9m (3.0 ft),

out-of-focus picture may result.
Self-timer operation (See Fig. M on page 38.)
1 Turn the camera ON and press the self-timer button.
2 The self-timer indicator blinks
for 8
sec, then lights up
for 2
sec. before
the shutter
is
released.
To cancel self-timer operation, close the lens cover
or
press the self-timer
button again.
Flash photography
